Ok - Ok ...maybe I did get a bit overexcited about Mixer #29 from MIU. At first the thought of using aluminum and masking tape on a layout had me groaning, but once I started thinking about it, I had to try these 2 approaches. One was to use both product on my page, and the other to use both products to create my page.
I used Juliana's Sketch for both layouts, just because I loved it!
For this one I made a grid with the masking tape and then applied various pigment inks using crumpled aluminum foil. Once everything was dry, I removed the tape and used the cardstock as my foundation.
I used foil tape on this one- embossed with a Cuttlebug folder. I used some of the leftover to cover a chipboard star shape. It's obvious where I used the masking tape here, but maybe not that I applied some ink over it so that the embossed image underneath shows. I'm horribly embarrased by how crooked this one looks, but it's still my fave by far!
