Stringy stuff...

that's what we're challenging you to use this week at Practical Scrappers - Floss, Ribbon and Fibers to be exact. Although I used this week's challenge item more minimally than usual, I'm quite happy with the outcome. This may be a technique I'll be using again soon. ( Just wish my Tiny Attacher stapler had a longer reach!)

I used Paper floss and looped it down the side of the layout using those tiny staples to keep it in place.

Materials used:
Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper
PP: Sassafras Lass
Letters: Rusty Pickle, Cosmo Cricket, Sassafras Lass, Jenni Bowlin
Sticker: Sassafras Lass
Floss: Karen Foster
Tiny Staples: Tim Holtz
Pen: Staedlater Triplus Fineliner

Bring on the Bling!

So last time we needed to use bling for a Practical Scrappers challenge, you may remember I did a Pirate page about my boys.  This week, when it came to using glitter, I had to think up something else boyish that would work all "bling-ed" out...
Let's just say our dress-up bin has some interesting things in it!

Materials used:
Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper
PP: Fancy Pants, October Afternoon, Sassafras Lass
Glitter: StixII
Sealant: Folk Art Artist's Varnish ( Gloss)
Chipboard: Fancy Pants
Ribbon: DCWV
Letters: October Afternoon
Felt: Fancy Pants
Title die cut using SCAL and Glimmer Girls Font ( shadow)

Here are two newer pages- one is a Valentine's layout, and one is kinda Easter themed- both food related of course! The Cupcake layout I did at a crop, I had wanted to use up that Making Memories shaped paper, since I had already cut the center of it out for another project. I used some brown ink, and a new text background stamp from Hero Arts. I also kept with the polka dot craze by adding spots to my Thickers using my white pen.
Materials:
Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper, Bo Bunny
PP: Making Memories, KI Memories, Jillibean Soup
Chipboard: K&Co
Pearls: Kaiser Craft
Ribbon: unknown
Butterrfly punch: Martha Stewart
Stamp: Hero Arts
Ink: Memento
Letters: American Crafts, Webster's Pages
Pen; Uniball Signo (white)

My "Easter" page is really photos of the kids the week before Easter devouring bunnies brought to them by friends of ours. I did this page as part of a Scraptag on Scraptacular Images. I really wanted an Easter bunny shape cut on my Cricut, but when I couldn't find one I liked, I decided to print an image I found onto beige cardstock- Voila-  chocolate bunny!

Markers!!

That's this week's challenge at Practical Scrappers. The DT have created projects using a variety of markers in many different ways. What amazed me about doing this challenge is how I was able to create an entire layout without any patterned paper. ( and it was fun!)
Here's my creation for this week- I think I may need to go back and fix the crooked title- OOPS!

Materials used:
Cardstock: Bazzill Basics Paper, Prism Simply Smooth
stamps: Studio G, Autumn Leaves
Markers: Copic
Pen: Copic Multiliner
Ink: Memento
letters: My Little Shoebox, Adorn It
Chipboard heart: Maya Road
